Mr PH Quirk and others v Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service and The Home Office: 2103707/2000

EMPLOYMENT TRIBUNALS
Case No 2103707/2000
Mr PH Quirk & others (see attached schedule)Claimant1. Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service 2. The Home OfficeRespondent
Employment Judge SlaterDate 5 March 2018

JUDGMENT

That part of the claimants’ claims which relates to the terms and conditions of their employment as a retained firefighter are struck out.

REASONS

[1]By a letter dated 13 February 2018 the Tribunal gave the claimants an opportunity to make representations or to request a hearing, as to why the claim for terms and conditions should not be struck out because they have not been actively pursued.[2]The claimants have failed to make representations in writing, or have failed to make any sufficient representations, why this should not be done or to request a hearing. The claims for terms and condition are therefore struck out.[3]That part of the claimants’ claims which relates to pension entitlement is stayed pending further order.
