JUDGMENT
[1]The respondent wrongfully dismissed the claimant. The respondent served the claimant with only one week’s notice to bring his contract of employment to an end in circumstances where he was entitled to 12 weeks’ notice.[2]After giving credit for monies earned elsewhere by the claimant by way of mitigation of loss the claimant’s damages for wrongful dismissal are in the sum of £895.84. This sum shall be paid by the respondent to the claimant on or before 18 March 2019.
