Upon the claimant’s reference to the Employment Tribunal made pursuant to section 11(1) of the Employment Rights Act 1996:[1]The following particulars ought to have been included in the statement of initial employment particulars: 1.1. The names of the respondent and of the claimant as the employer and the worker respectively. 1.2. That the claimant’s employment began on 17 July 2023. 1.3. The claimant’s gross annual wage was £52,000 per annum and was £39,401.50 per annum net, payable monthly. 1.4. The claimant’s holiday entitlement was 28 days per annum including public holidays.[2]The respondent failed to give the claimant written itemised pay statements as required by Section 8 of the 1996 Act for the period of the claimant’s employment between 17 July 2023 and 1 March 2024.
