JUDGMENT

[1]Upon hearing from the claimant, and hearing submissions from the claimant’s representative and the respondent’s representative, the tribunal finds that the claimant’s Crohn’s disease is a disability for the purposes of section 6 of the Equality Act 2010.[2]The tribunal finds that the claimant first satisfied the definition of a disabled person on the basis of having Crohn’s disease when he was diagnosed with the disease on 4 May 2021, and that he has been a disabled person since the date of that diagnosis.
