JUDGMENT

Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21[1]The claimant’s complaint of unauthorised deductions from wages is wellfounded. The respondent is ordered to pay to the claimant the amount of the unauthorised deductions in the sum of £1,318.50 (representing 146.5 hours worked in the weeks of 19 and 26 August 2019 at £9.00 per hour).[2]The claimant’s complaint of breach of contract in respect of entitlement to notice of termination of employment is well-founded. The respondent is ordered to pay to the claimant damages for breach of contract in the sum of £1,440.00 (representing four weeks’ notice entitlement). The hearing on 11 December 2019 is vacated.[1]The Tribunal's judgment dated 22 November 2019, sent to the parties on 25 November 2019, is revoked.[2]The claimant's claims in these proceedings are dismissed on withdrawal by the claimant.[3]This judgment is made by consent, the parties having agreed terms of settlement at a Reconsideration Hearing on 11 February 2020.
