JUDGMENT
[1]The Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 were not engaged at the material time.[2]The respondent unfairly dismissed the claimant.[3]By way of remedy upon the claimant’s successful complaint of unfair dismissal: 3.1. Basic award The respondent shall pay to the claimant a basic award in the sum of £1,259.65. 3.2. Compensatory award The respondent shall pay to the claimant a compensatory award in the sum of £390.46. This is calculated upon the following basis: 3.2.1. Two weeks’ net loss of earnings - £520.60 Less a 25% reduction on account of the claimant’s contributory conduct - £130.15 Net compensatory award- £390.45 Case No: 1805358/2020[4]The total sum of £1,650.10 shall be paid by the respondent to the claimant on or before 15 June 2021.
