Miss C Brook v Royal Mail Group plc: 1805332/2019

EMPLOYMENT TRIBUNALS
Case No 1805332/2019
Miss C BrookClaimantRoyal Mail Group PlcRespondent
Employment Judge MaidmentDate 20 December 2019

JUDGMENT

The claim is struck out.

REASONS

[1]By a letter dated 26th November 2019 the Tribunal gave the Claimant an opportunity to make representations or to request a hearing, as to why the claim should not be struck out because due to her not having had 2 years’ continuous employment with the Respondent the Tribunal had no jurisdiction to hear a claim of ordinary unfair dismissal.[2]The claimant has failed to make representations in writing, or has failed to make any sufficient representations, why this should not be done or to request a hearing. The claim is therefore struck out.[3]The hearing fixed for 5 February 2020 will not take place.
