JUDGMENT
The complaints of(a) indirect age discrimination alleging that not paying employees an amount during furlough which included average or any overtime payments disadvantaged young people and the claimant(b) failure to make a reasonable adjustment of failing to inform the claimant about the interview process for the job/transfer(c) failure to make a reasonable adjustment of providing the claimant with the questions prior to the interview are is struck out.REASONS
[1]The claimant was ordered to pay a deposit of £25.00 in respect of each of the above complaints following a preliminary hearing held on 16 February 2021. The Order was sent to the claimant on 2 March 2021 with a date for payment by 12 March 2021.The claimant has failed to pay these deposits by that date. An amount of £75 was paid by the claimant only on 15 March 2021 and without any variation of the order having been sought. The above complaints are therefore struck out under rule 39(4) of the Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013.[2]The remaining complaints will proceed to a final hearing.
