The proceedings are dismissed following a withdrawal of the claim by the claimant. Employment Judge Smith Dated: 24th September 2019 Case No: 1804407/2019 6.8 Judgment on Withdrawal rule 52 EMPLOYMENT TRIBUNALS Claimant: Mr A Ryan Respondent: Jct600 Limited Introduction[1]The respondent applied for a wasted costs order against Mr Richard Antrobus, the claimant’s solicitor in a letter dated 6 September 2019, including attaching evidence that the claimant had not given permission for his claim to be presented to the Tribunal;[2]On 12 September 2019 Mr Antrobus wrote to confirm that his firm was “most certainly instructed to commence Tribunal proceedings”; he had “now ceased acting”;[3]On the same day the claimant withdrew his claim and a dismissal Judgment was sent to the parties on 24 September 2019;[4]On 27 September 2019, the respondent withdrew its wasted costs application.
