JUDGMENT

The claims of disability discrimination, no notice pay, unauthorised deduction of wages and “other payments” are dismissed on non-appearance of the claimant.

REASONS

[1]The case was listed for hearing at Leeds Employment Tribunal at 10.00am on 1 February 2022 but was subsequently converted to a CVP on the same date.[2]By 10.00am the claimant did not come on the video nor had the Tribunal had any communication from him. The respondent did not attend, having failed in any event to file a response.[3]At 10.00am the clerk called the claimant’s telephone which first rang engaged and then failed. Case No: 1802874/2021[4]Once the clerk failed to get through on the claimant’s telephone, the clerk sent an email to the claimant. The Tribunal allowed a quarter of an hour for the claimant to reply.[5]At 10.30am the clerk attempted to call the claimant again but without success.[6]In all the circumstances the Tribunal dismissed the claimant’s claims.
