Before: Employment Judge D N Jones Ms L Fawcett Mr J Rhodes REPRESENTATION: Claimant: In person Respondent: Miss K Barry, Counsel[1]The respondent discriminated against the claimant in treating her unfavourably because of something arising from her disabilities in January 2021 (allegation 4).[2]This complaint was part of conduct the last part of which, allegation 5, fell within the time limit for presenting a claim.[3]The respondent breached its duty to make adjustments for the claimant upon her return to work in April 2021 (allegation 5).[4]The claims of direct sex discrimination, direct disability discrimination, victimisation, constructive unfair dismissal and breach of contract or unauthorised deductions from wages are dismissed.[5]The respondent shall pay to the claimant compensation for the unlawful discrimination in the sum of £4,971.94, comprising an award for injury to feelings of ££4,613.34 including interest and £358.60 in respect of a week’s pay, inclusive of interest.
