JUDGMENT

Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21[1]The claim was issued in the Leeds Employment Tribunals on 7 June 2022. The respondent has failed to present a valid response on time. Mr. Mahmood attended on behalf of the respondent and participated to the extent permitted by the Employment Judge. He has agreed the claimant’s calculations and accepts that the respondent has failed in error to provide the claimant with a statement of employment particulars. It was decided that a determination can properly be made of the claim in accordance with rule 21 of the Rules of Procedure.[2]The respondent has made an unlawful deduction of wages of £484.14 (gross).[3]The respondent has failed to give a statement of employment particulars and the claimant is awarded the minimum amount of two week’s pay in the sum of £426 in accordance with section 38 Employment Act 2002.
