JUDGMENT

[1]The claimant’s complaint that he was unfairly dismissed by the respondent was presented to the Tribunal outside the time limit for the presentation of such complaints provided for by section 111(2)(a) of the Employment Rights Act 1996.[2]It was reasonably practicable for the claimant to have presented his complaint within that time limit. Further, the complaint was not presented within a reasonable time in any event.[3]Accordingly, the Tribunal has no jurisdiction to consider the claimant’s unfair dismissal complaint which stands dismissed.
