Miss D Zelle v The Flower Connection: 1802529/2023

EMPLOYMENT TRIBUNALS
Case No 1802529/2023
Miss D ZelleClaimantThe Flower ConnectionRespondent
Employment Judge JaleelMr Wayne Dewey for respondentDate 18 September 2023

JUDGMENT

The complaint of unfair dismissal is struck out.

REASONS

[1]By a letter dated 14 July 2023 the Tribunal gave the Claimant an opportunity to make representations, or to request a hearing at which she could make them, on the Tribunal’s proposal to strike out her claim of unfair dismissal because it has no reasonable prospect of success, the Claimant not having completed two years’ qualifying service.[2]The contents of the Claimant’s email of 26 July 2023 do not give a sufficient reason why the Tribunal should not proceed with that proposal. The complaint of unfair dismissal is therefore struck out.[3]The Claimant’s remaining claim for notice pay remains listed for hearing on 31 August 2023.
