JUDGMENT
[1]The Employment Rights Act 1996 section 111A does not apply to the meeting conducted between the parties on 5 October 2017.[2]The claimant did not voluntarily resign. Instead his employment was terminated by the respondent and so there was a dismissal.[3]That dismissal was unfair both procedurally and substantively.[4]The claimant is entitled to a basic award of £1956 and a compensatory award of £1995.53 so that the total award is £3,951.53.[5]The respondent will make payment of that amount to the claimant forthwith.
