JUDGMENT

[1]The Respondent’s name is amended to The Great Yorkshire Brewery Ltd (in voluntary liquidation).[2]The Claimant’s claims for failure to pay notice pay was not presented in time. It was reasonably practicable for the Claimant to have presented the claims in time. Accordingly, the Tribunal has no jurisdiction to consider the claim.[3]The Claimant was dismissed by reason of redundancy and is entitled to redundancy pay.[4]The Respondent shall pay the Claimant the sum of £2,000 redundancy payment. That has been calculated as follows: Gross weekly wage = £400 The Claimant was aged 38 and had completed 5 years of service on the effective date of termination Accordingly, the appropriate multiplier is 5 which when applied to the multiplicand of £400 gives a redundancy entitlement of £2,000.
