JUDGMENT

The claimant’s complaint of unlawful deductions from wages succeeds and the respondent shall pay to her the following gross sum: Unpaid wages: £432

REASONS

[1]The claimant’s claim was served on the respondent at its registered office address; there is a notice to strike off on behalf of the Registrar; no response has been received.[2]The claimant attended today and provided further information confirming the papers she had submitted in advance. She was engaged to carry out work for the respondent in early January 2018, was let go on 22 January for reasons relating to the project; she agreed the sum in wages due from the respondent and has been chasing payment ever since. The respondent has unlawfully deducted sums properly owing to her. She is entitled to a Judgment pursuant to Rule 21 in default of a response.
