Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21[1]Although this claim was presented late, I am satisfied that it was not reasonably practicable to present it in time and that the actual date of presentation was reasonable. That is because the claimant was given misleading information by the respondent which led the claimant to believe that payment would be forthcoming without the need for litigation.[2]The respondent has made an unauthorised deduction from the claimant's wages and is ordered to pay the claimant the net sum of £460.00 forthwith.
