[1]The claimant’s complaint of discrimination arising from disability pursuant to Section 15 of the Equality Act 2010 is well founded and succeeds. The respondent is ordered to pay to the claimant the sum of £8281.69 as compensation for financial loss and the sum of £5405.48 as compensation for injury to feelings (inclusive of interest).[2]The claimant’s complaint of unfair dismissal is well founded and succeeds. As compensation for unfair dismissal, the respondent is ordered to pay to the claimant a basic award in the sum of £1027.14.
