Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21 The claim was issued in the Leeds Employment Tribunals on 21 March 2023. The respondent has failed to present a valid response in time. The Employment Judge has decided that a determination can properly be made of the claim in accordance with rule 21 of the Rules of Procedure.[1]The Tribunal declares the respondent made unauthorised deductions from the claimant’s wages, in relation to unpaid wages from November and December 2022. The respondent is ordered to pay the claimant the net sum of £2,868.00.[2]The respondent has failed to pay the claimant’s holiday entitlement and is ordered to pay the claimant the gross sum of £1,700.00.[3]The respondent has breached the claimant’s contract by deducting pension contributions from their wages but not paying them into their pension. The respondent is ordered to pay the claimant damages of £535.00.[4]The respondent is in breach of contract by failing to reimburse the claimant agreed expenses and the respondent is ordered to pay the claimant damages of £906.00.
