JUDGMENT
[1]The claim was lodged on 28 February 2023. No response has been presented. I am satisfied that a determination of the claim can properly be made on the material available, as follows.[2]The complaints of unauthorised deduction from wages, for pay in lieu of accrued but untaken holiday and for breach of contract in respect of notice pay are well-founded and succeed. The Respondent shall pay the Claimant the following sums:2.1 Wages for 8 November to 8 December 2022: €2,916.67;2.2 Holiday pay: €358.06;2.3 Damages for breach of contract in respect of notice pay: €673.07.[3]If any tax is payable on these sums, the Claimant is responsible for paying it.[4]The Claimant’s contract provided for him to be paid in Euros and the sums in this judgment are therefore expressed in Euros.
