Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21[1]The claim was issued in the Leeds Employment Tribunals on 22 March 2023. The respondent has failed to present a valid response on time. The Employment Judge has decided that a determination can properly be made of the claim, or part of it, in accordance with rule 21 of the Rules of Procedure.[2]The respondent has made unauthorised deductions from the claimant’s wages and is ordered to pay the claimant the following gross sums:a. In respect of wages for 3 to 13 October 2022: £550.00.b. In respect of holiday accrued but not taken when his employment ended: £100.00.[3]Interest is not payable in a claim for unauthorised deduction from wages.[4]The hearing listed on 3 May 2023 is cancelled.
