JUDGMENT
The Claimant has not actively pursued her claim and the claim is struck out.in accordance with rule 37 of the Employment Tribunal Rules of Procedure 2013.REASONS
The Claimant did not attend the Tribunal hearing on 23 October 2023. She wrote to the Respondent on 20 October 2023 indicating that she was withdrawing her Tribunal claim. However, she did not tell the Tribunal in writing that she was withdrawing her claim. I therefore ordered her to write to the Tribunal by 30 October 2023 either confirming that her claim was withdrawn, or explaining why she did not attend the hearing. I warned her that if her claim was not withdrawn I would decide whether it should be struck out because she had not complied with Tribunal orders and had not actively pursued the claim. She was told that if she did not want it to be struck out, she must explain why or request a hearing to explain why. The Claimant has not responded at all. I therefore conclude that she has not actively pursued her claim and that it should be struck out.
