JUDGMENT
[1]The respondent made an unauthorised deduction from the claimant’s wages payable at the end of December 2020.[2]The amount of the unauthorised deduction was in the sum of £2833.33 gross.[3]The respondent shall pay to the claimant the amount of the unauthorised deduction on or before 12 August 2021. NOTE[1]The claimant seeks to recover the sum of £1875.03. This is the net sum due to him after the deductions are made as set out in the payslip at page 50 of the hearing bundle. Case No: 1800796/2021(V)[2]It is appropriate for Judgement to be given in the gross sum. However, the claimant should receive the sum of £1875.03 net from the respondent, with the respondent to make a proper account to the appropriate authorities and pension provider for the deductions set out in the wage slip.
