The claim is struck out.REASONS
[1]The claimant was ordered to pay a deposit of £5.00 following a preliminary hearing held on 28 July 2022. The Order was sent to the claimant on 29 July 2022. The claimant has failed to pay this deposit by the date for payment (26 August 2022). The claimant wrote to the Tribunal on 31 August 2022 applying for more time to pay the deposit but this was after the date for payment had passed and no reasons had been advanced as to why the small deposit could not have been paid earlier. The claim is therefore struck out under rule 39(4) of the Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013.[2]The hearing fixed for 5 January 2023 will not take place. JM Wade
