JUDGMENT

[1]The Respondent has made unauthorised deductions from the Claimant’s wages, by not paying her the monthly bonuses to which she was entitled for November and December 2022, she having met the criteria in place at the material times and which qualified employees for receipt of such a bonus in arrears, after the date for salary payments, which was on the 17th, but still later in the same relevant month in which wage payments were due.

[2]The Respondent is therefore ordered to pay to the Claimant the sum of £898.00 gross.

[3]The Respondent has further failed to give to the Claimant in a single document, or in more than one document in so far as permitted, a written statement of particulars of employment which satisfies the requirements of Part 1 of the Employment Rights Act 1996.

[4]The Respondent is therefore ordered to pay to the Claimant an additional award of compensation equivalent to 2 weeks’ pay, pursuant to section 38 of the Employment Act 2002, namely £410.76
