JUDGMENT

[1]The Respondent has made an unlawful deduction from the Claimant’s wages for the period up to 20th February 2017 in the gross sum of £2384.28.[2]The Respondent is ordered to pay under section 24 (2) of the Employment Rights Act further compensation in the sum of £181.64 so as to in bring the net sum due on an income of £2384.28 as at today’s date (£1702.97) up to the net sum that would have been received had the wages been paid on time (£1884.61)[3]No sum is due to be paid to the Claimant under paragraphs 1 and 2 above as it is offset against the sum of £1884.61 that was remitted to the Claimant on 22nd May 2017[4]The Respondent has made a further unlawful deduction from the Claimants wages for the period from 21st to 28th February 2017 in the gross sum, accruing daily, of £876.72.[5]The Respondent is ordered to pay to the Claimant the sum of £876.72 gross.[6]The Respondent is ordered to pay to the Claimant under section 24 (2) of the Employment Rights Act further compensation in the sum of £100.00 to compensate her for financial loss attributable to the unlawful deduction as set out in paragraph 4.[7]The Respondent is further ordered pursuant to rule 78 (1) (c) of the Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 to pay to the Claimant’ costs in the sum of £390.00 as reimbursement of the tribunal fees.
