The unanimous decision of the Employment Tribunal is that:[1]The complaint of direct disability discrimination fails and is dismissed.[2]The complaint of unfair dismissal fails and is dismissed.[3]The Claimant is ordered to pay the Respondent the sum of £544, in preparation time costs. A preparation time order is made pursuant to Rule 76(a) of the Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure. A deposit order of £100 has already been paid by the Claimant, which is to be paid to the Respondent, towards payment of the preparation time order, leaving a balance of £444 for the Claimant to pay.
