[1]The complaint of unauthorised deductions from wages is well-founded. The respondent made an unauthorised deduction from the claimant's wages in the period 23rd September to 20th October 2023.[2]The respondent shall pay the claimant £363.51, which is the gross sum deducted. It is understood that the Respondent will make this payment through payroll, but the claimant is ultimately responsible for any income tax or employee national insurance contributions that may be due on the sum awarded.
