Miss Emma Owen v Mr Geraint Jones: 1602142/2019
JUDGMENT
[1]This was a remote hearing on the papers which was not objected to by the parties. The form of remote hearing was undertaken by telephone with the Judge in the Tribunal hearing room and the parties remote. A face to face hearing was not held because of the Presidential Direction regarding the Covid-19 pandemic and the fact that all issues could be determined in a remote hearing. The only documents to which I was referred were the Claim Form and the Response, the contents of which I have recorded. The orders made were as follows.[2]The Claimant’s claim in respect of unpaid holiday succeeds and the Respondent is ordered to pay the Claimant the gross sum of £198.19 in respect of that. 2. The Respondent failed to provide the Claimant with a written statement of employment particulars and, pursuant to section 38 of the Employment Act 2002, the Respondent is ordered to pay the Claimant an amount equal to two weeks’ pay; £246.30. 10.2 Judgment - rule 61 February 2018 Case No: 1602142/2019
