JUDGMENT
Having considered the respondent’s written representations, considered the documents and heard submissions from the claimant, the employment judge’s decision is:[1]The respondent has unlawfully made deductions from the claimant’s wages. and owes the claimant unpaid wages of £2,280 gross (152 hours x £15 per hour).[2]The respondent is ordered to pay the claimant £2,280 on or before 24th January 2020. The claimant will be responsible for paying any tax and national insurance that is due on this sum.[3]The Employment Protection (Recoupment of Jobseekers Allowance & Income Support) Regulations 1996 do not apply to this award.
