JUDGMENT

Having heard evidence on oath from the Claimant and Mr Fryer and having considered the bundle of documents, the Employment Judge’s decision is:[1]The Claimant’s claim for notice pay is not well founded and is dismissed.[2]The Claimant’s complaint that there was an unauthorised deduction from his wages is well founded. This means the Respondent unlawfully deducted the sum of £794.68 (wages for 16th & !7th March 2020).[3]The Respondent is liable to pay the Claimant £794.68. This should be paid to the Claimant as a gross amount following which the Claimant will be responsible for paying any income tax or employee national insurance contributions that may be due upon these wages.
