JUDGMENT

[1]The claim of an unlawful deduction from wages, by the respondent’s failure to pay the claimant contractual wages, is well founded and the respondent is ordered to pay to the claimant compensation in the gross sum of £564.00.[2]The claim for the failure to pay ten days’ accrued holiday pay is well founded and the respondent is ordered to pay to the claimant compensation in gross sum of £800.00.[3]The breach of contract claim in respect of twelve weeks’ notice pay is well founded and the respondent is ordered to pay damages to the claimant in the gross sum of £4,800.[4]The reason for the termination of the claimant’s employment was redundancy. The claimant, who was over the age of forty-one at all material times and had 19.5 years of service at a gross weekly wage of £400.00, is entitled to a redundancy payment in the sum of £7,800.00.[5]The claimant will be accountable for any tax or national insurance payments due on the aforesaid gross sums.
