BY CONSENT By consent, the respondent is ordered to pay the claim of £259.82 in respect of the claimant’s claim for holiday pay.REASONS
[1]This case was due to be heard in person on the above date but was converted to a telephone preliminary hearing due to the Covid-19 pandemic.[2]On 31 March 2020 and 1 May 2020 the respondent confirmed in writing they agreed to pay the claimant the sum of £259.82 and would not be attending the hearing.[3]In accordance with the overriding objective I determined that the above written confirmation was sufficient for me to issue a Judgment by consent notwithstanding the respondent’s failure to attend the preliminary hearing. 10.13 Consent judgment – rule 64 March Case No: 1600675/2020
