Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21[1]The claim was issued in the Wales Employment Tribunals on 14 March 2023. The respondent has failed to present a valid response on time. The Employment Judge has decided that a determination can properly be made of the claim, or part of it, in accordance with rule 21 of the Rules of Procedure.[2]The respondent has failed to pay the claimant’s wages 24 November 2022 to 18 December 2022 and must pay the claimant £1177.22 gross.[3]The claimant was dismissed in breach of contract in respect of notice and the respondent must pay damages to the claimant of £1681.60 less benefits received of £639.80 = £1041.80[4]The claimant was dismissed by reason of redundancy and is entitled to a redundancy payment of £1681.60.[5]The respondent has failed to pay the claimant’s accrued and untaken holiday entitlement on termination and must pay the claimant £1345.28.[6]The Claimant is responsible for any employee tax and national insurance contributions due.[7]The respondent must pay the claimant £5245.90 in total.[8]The hearing listed on 16 August 2023 is cancelled.
