JUDGMENT

Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21[1]The respondent has made an unauthorised deduction from the claimant's wages and is ordered to pay the claimant the gross sum of £525.[2]The claimant was dismissed in breach of contract with insufficient notice and the respondent is ordered to pay damages to the claimant in the sum of £425.12.[3]The respondent has failed to pay the claimant’s holiday entitlement and is ordered to pay the claimant the gross sum of £78.72.[4]The claimant is responsible for any income tax or employee national insurance contributions that may be due on the sums awarded in respect of the unpaid wages and unpaid holiday pay.[5]In total the respondent is liable to pay the claimant £1,028.84. In the event of this debt not being paid in full within 14 days of this judgment, interest will accrue on this debt, at a rate of 8% per annum on any amount of this award that remains unpaid. (See Article 3 (1) Employment Tribunals (Interest) Order 1990).
