JUDGMENT
[1]The Respondent made an unlawful deduction of from the Claimant’s wages by failing to pay the Claimant any wages between 19th October 2021 and 19th January 2022.[2]The period referred to in §1 (above) is 13 weeks. The Claimant was contracted to work 30 hours per week, at a rate of £8.91 per hour (gross). Therefore the Claimant is owed 390 hours at a rate of £8.91 per hour.[3]The Respondent is to pay the claimant £3,474.90 in respect of unauthorised deduction from wages. This sum is awarded gross and the Claimant is responsible for any income tax or employee national insurance contributions which may become due.[4]The total amount of the award is £3,474.90. The recoupment provisions do not apply. I can confirm that this is my judgment in the case numbered above and I have signed the judgment by electronic signature
