Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21[1]The claims were issued in the South West Regional Employment Tribunals on 2 November 2024 and 1 December 2024 respectively. The respondent has failed to present a valid response to either claim on time. The Employment Judge has decided that a determination can properly be made of the claims, or part of them, in accordance with rule 21 of the Rules of Procedure.[2]The respondent has made unauthorised deductions from the claimant’s wages and must pay the claimant £492.41 gross.[3]The claimant was dismissed by reason of redundancy and is entitled to a redundancy payment of £926.25.[4]The respondent failed to provide the claimant with itemised pay statements and must pay the claimant £235.56.[5]The respondent must pay the claimant £1,654.22 in total.
