JUDGMENT

UPON the Respondent failing to attend or be represented at this hearing, AND UPON first considering the information available, the tribunal proceeded to hear the claim in the absence of the Respondent under Rule 47 of the Employment Tribunal Rules of Procedure 2013. The judgment of the tribunal is that the Claimant succeeds in his complaints of unfair dismissal, breach of contract (for notice pay), for payment of accrued but untaken holiday and for unauthorised deductions from wages. The Respondent is ordered to pay the Claimant the following amounts:  A Basic Award of £1,847.25 (6 x 1.5 x £205.25)  A Compensatory Award of £5,387.81 (21 x £205.25 plus a 25% uplift for failure to follow the ACAS code)  Notice pay of 6 weeks = £1,231.50 (6 x £205.25)  Holiday pay of 11.5 days = £472.08 (11.5 x £41.05)  Unauthorised deduction from wages of £300.
