The claims are struck out.REASONS
[1]By a letter dated 5 February 2020, Employment Judge Roper directed the Claimants to confirm whether they had applied to the Redundancy Payments Office, to process their minimum rights on the insolvency of their employer. They were also asked to confirm whether they intended to proceed with their claims. The Claimants were asked to respond by 12 February 2020. The Claimants did not respond.[2]By a letter dated 22 February 2020 the Tribunal notified the Claimants that Employment Judge Harper was considering striking out the claims. The claimants were given an opportunity to make representations or to request a hearing, as to why each of their claims should not be struck out because they have not been actively pursued. The Claimants were required to make any representations by 28 February 2020.The Claimants failed to make any representations in writing as to why this should not be done and did not request a hearing. 6.2 Strike out Judgment – claim - rule 37 Case No:1403909/2019 1403917/2019 1404160/2019 1404210/2019 1404246/2019[3]The Claimants, by failing to respond to the letters of 5 February and 22 February 2020, were not actively pursuing their claims. The claims were, therefore, struck out.[4]The hearing fixed for 4 March 2020 will not take place.
