Miss K Ballard v We Care Together Southampton: 1402890/2018
JUDGMENT
The claim of unfair dismissal is struck out.REASONS
[1]By a letter dated 7 August 2018 the Tribunal gave the claimant an opportunity to make representations or to request a hearing, as to why the claim of unfair dismissal should not be struck out because the claimant does not appear to have the requisite service of 2 years in order for the tribunal to have jurisdiction for such a claim.[2]While the claimant’s emails of 10 August 2018 are noted, the claimant has failed to make sufficient representations as to why this should not be done or to request a hearing, as these emails do not adequately address the issue. The claim is therefore struck out. The claimant is reminded that any correspondence to the tribunal must be copied to the respondent.[3]The hearing fixed for 26-27 March 2019 has been reduced to 3 hours and will take place on 26 March 2019 only, commencing at 10:00.
