JUDGMENT
[1]In breach of contract the Respondent failed to pay the Claimant a redundancy payment on termination of her employment. The total sum due is £36,416.73. The sum awarded is limited to £25,000 in accordance with the limit in article 10 of the Employment Tribunals Extension of Jurisdiction (Englad and Wales) 1994.[2]As agreed between the parties, there is no separate award of a statutory redundancy payment.[3]The Claimant’s claim of unfair dismissal fails and is dismissed. The total sum due to the Claimant is, therefore, £25,000.
