JUDGMENT
[1]Miss Puidaite was employed by Ripley Hicks Limited. Her claims against Ripley Hicks Ltd succeed.[3]Her claims against all other respondents are dismissed.[4]Ripley Hicks Limited unlawfully deducted wages from the claimant and owes her outstanding holiday and notice pay.[5]The amounts Ripley Hicks Limited is ordered to pay Miss Puidaite are as follows: i. 3 ½ weeks wages in the sum of £1,052 (gross) ii. notice pay in the sum of £384 (gross) iii. one week’s outstanding holiday pay in the sum of £384 (gross) iv. interest in the sum of £171 (£1.14 per day for 5 months) this being financial loss sustained by the claimant attributable to the matter complained of pursuant to section 24(2) Employment Rights Act 1996[6]The total amount payable from Ripley Hicks Limited to Miss Puidaite is therefore £1991. Mr K Donald Mr Donald was employed by Matrix Bennet Limited. His claims succeed against Matrix Bennet Limited.[3]Mr Donald’s claims against the other respondents are dismissed.[4]The counterclaim against Mr Donald from Ripley Hicks Ltd does not succeed and is dismissed.[5]Matrix Bennet Limited unlawfully deducted wages, notice pay and holidays from Mr Donald.[6]The amounts Matrix Bennet Limited is ordered to pay Mr Donald are set out below: i. outstanding wages in the sum of £576 .92 (gross) ii. notice pay in the sum of £576 .92 (gross) iii. 2.69 days holiday in the sum of £310.38 (gross)[7]Therefore the total amount payable from Matrix Bennet Limited to Mr Donald is £1,464.22.
