Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21[1]The claimant was unfairly dismissed by reason of redundancy and is entitled to a basic award of £4,790.00 (representing 10 years’ continuous service when aged over 22 years at the statutory maximum week’s pay, £479.00, at the effective date of termination).[2]The respondent has made an unauthorised deduction from the claimant's wages and is ordered to pay the claimant the total net sum of £6,256.09.[3]The claimant was dismissed in breach of contract in respect of notice and expenses and the respondent is ordered to pay damages to the claimant in the net sum of £6,985.70 and to pay him expenses in the sum of £709.00, a total of £7,694.70.[4]The hearing listed on 27 October 2016 is cancelled.
