A full extempore decision was given setting out the reasons for the decision. It was reasonably practicable for the claim to have been presented in time (by 23 October 2019). Had it not been reasonably practicable to present it by that date, the further period until it was presented (on 28 January 2020) was an unreasonably long period. Accordingly the Claimant was not able to meet either limb of the statutory test for extending time in this unfair dismissal claim.
