[1]By a claim presented on 7th February 2019 the claimant brought claims for unlawful deduction from wages and unfair dismissal. As the claimant had less than two years’ service the latter claim was rejected. The respondent did not enter a response to the claim The claim for unlawful deduction wages was not particularised or clear from the claim form and the case was listed for hearing on 6th September 2019. Neither party attended the listed hearing and the claim was dismissed.[2]On 25th September 2019 the claimant emailed seeking a reconsideration of the dismissal judgment. Employment Judge Midgely listed the case for a Reconsideration hearing and ordered him to supply a short witness statement addressing the reasons for non-attendance, and to supply a bundle of relevant documents by 6th November 2019. That was served on the Claimant via the same email address from which he had sought the reconsideration. He did not comply with that order and has not attended today’s hearing.[3]Accordingly the application for reconsideration is dismissed and the original Judgment confirmed. 1 of 2 Case Number: 1400471/2019
