JUDGMENT
[1]The Claimant was dismissed by the Respondent by reason of redundancy on 30th September 2021 and the Claimant is therefore entitled to a redundancy payment pursuant to section 163 Employment Rights Act 1996.[2]The Respondent shall pay the Claimant the statutory redundancy payment owed in the amount of £7,350. That having been calculated on the following basis: The weekly pay at the time of the dismissal was £350.00. The Claimant was 53 years of age at the time of dismissal. He had been employed for a period full period of 15 years (from 3rd March 2006 until 30th September 2021).[3]The Claimant’s claims for notice pay and arrears of pay are withdrawn and therefore dismissed.
