JUDGMENT

The JUDGMENT of the tribunal is that:-(1) The respondent has made unlawful deductions from the claimant’s pay in the sum of £1,096.14 gross (3 weeks x gross weekly salary of £365.38) in breach of section 13 of the Employment Rights Act 1996 (“the Act”) which monies the respondent is ordered to pay to the claimant.(2) The claimant is also awarded and the respondent is ordered to pay to her a further sum of £24 pursuant to section 24 (2) of the Act in respect of bank charges sustained by the claimant in consequence of the respondent’s unlawful deductions. Case no 1400006.18(3) The above monies totalling £1,120.14 (£1,096.14 and £24) are uplifted by 25 % pursuant to section 207A of the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992 in the sum of £280.03.(4) The claimant is therefore awarded and the respondent is ordered to pay to her the total sum of £1,400.18
