JUDGMENT

[1]The claimant was not an apprentice from 1 April 2019. He was therefore subject to unauthorised deductions from wages from 1 April 2019 until the termination of his employment on 18 October 2019 and the respondent must pay to the claimant the sum of £2400 (subject to statutory deductions).[2]The claimant was not subject to an unauthorised deduction from wages in respect of his pay for September 2019 and that claim is unsuccessful.[3]The respondent made unauthorised deductions from the claimant’s wages paid on 25 October 2019 in the sum of £318 and the respondent must pay to the claimant the sum of £318 (subject to statutory deductions).[4]The respondent made unauthorised deductions from the claimant’s wages paid on 25 October 2019 in that it failed to pay the claimant for all the accrued holiday that the claimant had not taken and the respondent must pay to the claimant the sum of £850 (subject to statutory deductions).[5]The respondent failed to pay the claimant his full entitlement to notice pay during his notice pay.
