JUDGMENT
Upon Hearing the submissions of counsel for both parties, the tribunal’s judgment is as follows1:[1]The title of the respondent is “The Secretary of State for Justice”[2]I grant the respondent’s application to amend his “composite” grounds of resistance for the two claims; and to present it with the benefit of an extension of time which I duly allow.[3]The respondent shall present to the tribunal and to the claimant, a completed prescribed form ET3 with the said grounds, by no later than 4.00pm on Friday 10 July 2020.[4]I dismiss the claimant’s application to strike out the response, and for a deposit order in respect of the response.[5]In exercise of my discretion, I grant the claimant’s application for his costs against the respondent, in respect of preparation and attendance for the preliminary hearing before the tribunal on 15 April 2020. I order the respondent to pay the claimant’s costs in the total amount of £1,804.80, 1 The judgment is promulgated in summary form. The claimant’s counsel has requested written reasons. A full reasons judgment will be promulgated as soon as practicable.
